  • Somos Pilates is for everyone. We offer custom-tailored private sessions and a variety of classes, perfect for all levels.

    If you’re new, remember there are always new people in the studio! Our highly trained staff are here to answer questions.

  • Joseph Pilates defined his method as “the complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit.”

    In practice, Pilates is a full-body conditioning program centered on strengthening the core musculature and nurturing a positive relationship with movement.

    Our #1 goal is to use the exercises and concepts of the Pilates method to improve the quality of our everyday lives.

    “So… Exercise?”

    Well yeah, it’s exercise, but chasing the B39 bus is exercise. What sets Pilates apart from other methods of physical conditioning is that it bridges the gap between functional motion and enlivened thought; the reawakening of dormant muscle and brain cells.

    Pilates will challenge you to know yourself better; physically, emotionally, and intellectually. 

    It’s way existential.

  • Short answer: Private sessions fast-track you to achieving your goals.

    Even if you intend to continue your practice exclusively in classes (and we cannot emphasize this next part enough), the one-on-one attention of private sessions will help you better understand the Pilates repertoire and give you the tools you need to get the most out of every hour of Pilates, whether in a class or private setting. Think of private sessions like a booster pack: It's worth the investment, trust.

    If you’d rather dip your toes in first, start with any class on the schedule designated “Beginner.”

  • Our trainers’ private session schedules are available online here. Find a time that works for you, make an account, and schedule your session. Boom. Pilates.

    If you’re a beginner, or you’d just like to touch base with us before scheduling, you can reach us via email or phone (talk AND text-friendly!) to discuss.

  • We strongly recommend scheduling your class in advance to secure a spot.

    Find our schedule here and follow the instructions for creating an account to reserve your classes. Every Somos Pilates client needs to have an account before registering for their first class.

    You can download the MindBody app and reserve a spot on your phone or computer yourself or you can also call the front desk at 505.555.5555 and have them assist you to create an account to reserve a class.

  • Plan on arriving at the studio 5-10 minutes before the start of your session or class time so you can get to know our staff and the equipment. We recommend that you sign up online or book ahead by downloading the MindBody App on your phone.

    You will need to fill out a liability waiver before participating in your first session or class. Fill it out online or sign a printed copy at the studio when you arrive.

  • Private and semi-private appointments require a 24-hour cancellation notice.

    Classes require a 12-hour cancellation notice.

    Appointments and classes canceled in advance are returned to your client account and are subject to their original expiration dates.

    Appointment cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the appointment start time, and class cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to the start of class, will be deducted from your client account as if you had attended. If you don't have active appointments or classes in your account, your credit card on file will be charged for the missed session.

    Manage your schedule by logging into your client account and following the system prompts in the schedule section or by calling or emailing the studio directly.

    We strive to enforce the policies listed above, but we also understand life happens. If you have an emergency or medical illness, please contact the studio and we’ll work together to resolve scheduling issues.

  • We strictly adhere to all local Covid guidelines. At this time, we do not require masks for staff or clients, but we encourage you to mask up to your comfort level.

    We require all clients to do a full wipe down with disinfecting products on all used equipment at the conclusion of each session or class.

    Additionally, the studio is cleaned twice daily: once after morning sessions, and once again after evening sessions. Our staff is also continuously disinfecting high-touch areas.

    The studio undergoes a thorough deep cleaning service once a week.

    All Somos Pilates staff are fully vaccinated and boosted.

  • All packages have an expiration date after the sale date and are non-refundable and nontransferable past their expiration date.

    5 packs: 60 days
    10 packs: 90 days
    20 packs: 180 days

  • What happens next?

    Mindbody will notify you by email and/or text if a spot becomes available in the class you are waitlisted for. You will then be asked to confirm or deny your spot in class.

    How do I know I’m off the waitlist?

    You will receive a notification anywhere from when you signed up for the waitlist until 2 hours before class. If you don’t get placed into class, your session will be placed back into your account to use within the expiration date.

    What spot am I on the waitlist?

    To check your waitlist status, log into Mindbody, go to My Info, and click My Schedule.

    If I cannot waitlist for a class, what does that mean?

    The max limit of three clients has already filled up the waitlist.

    I’ve been charged for a class that I was added to from the waitlist but I didn’t confirm. What now?

    You can remove yourself from the waitlist if you know you aren’t able to join the class. Please be sure your notifications on your MindBody profile are turned on.
